Established under Regulation No. 239/2016 by the Oromia Regional State Council, our group was founded to unlock the full strategic and economic potential of Adama City a vibrant, rapidly growing urban hub. With an authorized capital of Birr 12 Billion and a paid-up capital of Birr 3 Billion, we serve as a vital catalyst for regional development and community advancement.
Today, AIG coordinates five robust enterprises covering Construction, Agriculture, Services, Smart Technology, and Engineering. By bridging these sectors, we address critical market gaps and ensure public benefit. Whether providing grade-1 construction infrastructure, stabilizing inflation by delivering discounted milk and egg products, or servicing thousands of daily transit riders at 50% discount rates, we prioritize social and economic returns.

Adama Investment Group (AIG) is a public enterprise established by the Oromia Regional State Council under Regulation No. 239/2016. Founded with an authorized capital of 12 Billion Birr and a paid-up capital of 3 Billion Birr, AIG leverages Adama City's strategic economic potential to drive regional development and support the community.
AIG is established with five distinct enterprises: AIG-Agro Enterprise, AIG-Construction Enterprise, AIG-Integrated Service Enterprise, AIG-Tech Enterprise, and AIG Engineering Enterprise. Together they create synergistic value across construction, farming, services, technology, and design.
As a CONSTRUCTION-GC-1 grade contractor, the AIG-Construction Enterprise has managed 120 total projects from the Adama City Administration. It has completed 117 projects (including the Road Corridor, Bicycle Lane, Andode Village, Awash Elementary School, Wonji Culvert, and Mesob Center) with 3 projects currently ongoing, at a total investment of 8.4 Billion Birr.
We actively work to stabilize inflation. AIG-Agro provides milk products at a 20-30% discount from the market price, resulting in 14.8M Birr in customer savings. Our poultry operations have supplied eggs at a similar discount, saving customers over 17.1M Birr. Additionally, our Integrated Service bus transit serves 16,000+ daily passengers at a discount of over 50%.
For the current year, AIG is preparing to launch sheep, goat, and cattle fattening operations, establish a milk processing facility, and build an oil extraction facility under our Agro division. We are also expanding our real estate commercial portfolio and launching a new, fully equipped gas station.
